This legal study tour is planned to provide both formal instruction and meetings between American attorneys and judges and their colleagues in China. By comparing the legal systems and actual legal programs we plan to provide our registrants with relevant knowledge about the problems of functioning in cross cultural environments.

This activity is approved for California minimum continuing legal education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 5 hours and the Corporation For Professional Conferences, Inc. certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education prescribed by the rules and regulations of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education. Program Goal
This legal study tour is planned to provide both formal instruction and meetings between American attorneys and judges and their colleagues in Egypt. By comparing the legal systems and actual legal programs we plan to provide our registrants with relevant knowledge about the problems of functioning in cross cultural environments.
About CLE Approval
This activity is approved for California minimum continuing legal education credit by the State Bar of California in the amount of 5 hours and the Corporation For Professional Conferences, Inc. certifies that this activity conforms to the standards for approved education prescribed by the rules and regulations
of the State Bar of California governing minimum continuing legal education. We anticipate that the trip will qualify for at least 5.0 hours for Continuing Legal Credit for Pennsylvania, California and other states.
About Your Final Report
Shortly after the completion of your program you will receive a final report detailing all educationally related time during the study tour. Joseph Del Sole served as President Judge of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania from 2001 until 2006 and served on the court from 1984 until his retirement in 2006. Prior to being elected to the Superior Court, he served on the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas from 1978 until 1984 and was its
Calendar Control Judge. From 1965 until assuming the bench, he was in private practice specializing in civil litigation and has extensive experience in civil cases, personal injury, professional negligence, commercial, employment and insurance disputes.
Judge Del Sole served as an adjunct professor at Duquesne University School of Law lecturing on Pennsylvania Civil Procedure. He has lectured widely on a variety of topics and frequently spoke at the Pennsylvania School for New Judges.
During his tenure on the bench, he was the first Chair of the Judicial Conduct Board and served on the Appellate Court Rules Committee. He was appointed Chair of the Supreme Court's Ad Hoc Committee reviewing post-trial practice in civil and criminal litigation and the Court's Ad Hoc Committee establishing
special procedures to resolve litigation resulting from silicone gel breast implants. He has lectured at the Pennsylvania School for New Judges and served as vice chair of the Supreme Court's Committee on Judicial Education.
Judge Del Sole is a member of the Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County. He is a member of the Century Club of Distinguished Alumni of Duquesne University and serves on the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.

Dr James Sikarskie has been the Zoo and Wildlife Veterinarian at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine for over 30 years. He was the Veterinarian for the Lansing, Michigan Zoo and has worked with Wildlife, both captive and free-ranging the whole time. He has developed the American Bald Eagle as an environmental biomonitor in the Great Lakes Basin and has a lot of field experience.
